Have Your Best Year Ever
We think of January 1st as the time to set goals but guess what.. any time is the right time to have your best year ever.
Once you commit to a plan you can take control of your destiny and to have the ability to choose how you live. True success in life is about proper balance, choosing priorities, and following a plan of action to focus on the things that are most important to us.
Here are a few suggestions that may help you.
What is it that you really want this year. Dream ,scheme, and then dream bigger! Write it down, just for the fun of it.
Select at least one day each month, just for you. Schedule an appointment with yourself for one full day each month. Have fun and renew yourself, just for the joy of it.
Take a vacation this year. Look at the calendar and write in at least one week off! Do things you enjoy, but mostly relax. Go camping, rent a cabin at the beach, and visit old friends.
Commit to a project you’ve wanted to do but haven’t. This is one of those, “I’ve always wanted to but never did” projects. Learn to ski, write a book, start a business. This is your year!
Purchase several books you’ve always wanted to read, and schedule time for them. Put it in your appointment calendar as “continuing education” or “research,” and enjoy the reading!
Start a special savings account to prepare for something huge that will benefit you in life!
Work on relationships with family and friends. Every week, send a note or make a call.,
Each and Every day, tell someone you appreciate them, that you are grateful for their help.
Practice daily the attitude of gratitude!
Increase your goals. Whatever you hope to accomplish in the next year, double it, then take action to making it happen!
Be kind to yourself and those around you.
