Optimizing your website in a way that makes it more attractive to search engines is a great way to exponentially increase your MLM lead generation.

Mind you that the traffic we are talking about here is absolutely FREE.

So, let’s start with the basics. What on earth is SEO ?

SEO is an anagram standing for “Search Engine Optimization”.

Your basic strategy here is to have your business sites rank as high as possible on Google and other search engines, thus bringing great quality MLM leads to your website.

In other words, if an internet surfer searches for ‘Work At Home’ in Google, a website that has been optimized for that topic or even that exact phrase will probably be ranked higher in search results than a website that has not been optimized.

We call website visits that result from search engines ‘organic traffic’ because you don’t have to pay for these visitors.

#1. KEYWORD:
To start optimizing your MLM opportunity website, you need to understand the concept of keywords.

The term KEYWORD refers to the exact word or phrase that people are searching for.
For instance, at the time of writing of this article, the most popular keyword on Google was ‘British open leaderboard’ (don’t ask me why). That means that people have entered that exact phrase in the search box more than anything else that day.

Your keyword can be short (one word) or contain several words that specify the kind of information a web user is looking for.

In other words, it can be anything.

The point here is the more often your MLM home business website mentions or is connected to (explained later) a specific keyword, the more likely it is to show up in the search engine results for those keywords.

#2. BACKLINK:
The next crucial part of SEO we need to talk about is called a backlink.

‘BACKLINK’ is one of the measurements that the search engines use to see how important or insightful your website content really is.
For example, if any website includes this kind of link in their content Your Net Biz and that link leads the visitors back to my website, that’s a backlink. The thinking behind it is the better and the more valuable information you provide on your website, the more website masters will want to link to it.

For example, Wikipedia website ranks very high on many topics because many sites quote it as a source in their content.

Your goal is to become “Wikipedia” website in your field and get as many websites to link to yours as you can thus causing it to rank higher for your keywords and helping your MLM lead generation tremendously.

#3. RECIPROCAL LINK:
Yet another important SEO principal for your MLM home business is called the reciprocal link.

A RECIPROCAL LINK is created when two similar in content websites mutually link to each other.
Reciprocal links are much easier to get than backlinks and many MLM home business website owners use this tactic for their SEO.

Unfortunately, although important, reciprocal links will not get you too far with the search engines, since it is so easy to get them.

So, keywords, backlinks, and reciprocal links are really the major concepts you need to pay attention to when optimizing your MLM home business site.

Of course, this is only the tip of the SEO iceberg.

However, if you want to save thousands of advertising dollars and drive targeted MLM leads to your website, it’s certainly worth the trouble!

I agree 100% with what he has to say and would encourage you to read and understand why you need a network marketing system.  The reasons he states below in his article are exactly why I have chosen The EDGE MARKETING SYSTEM, as my system of choice!

If you choose, you could spend years guessing at the best way to run your network marketing campaigns and building your network. It’s called trial and error. It’s tedious. And expensive.

Accept right now that you don’t know everything. This will come in handy later. You should also accept that you never will know everything. It’s a fact of life.

Network marketing is unlike any other business. If you haven’t done it before, you need a mentor, and a system.Top Internet business owners who leverage systems for their network marketing improve their financial performance. There’s just no way around this.

To become a top network marketer you will need both a mentor, and a network marketing system. The tough part is choosing the right system for your business, and finding the right mentor for you.

You’ll find no shortage of companies touting their “crazy-mad-awesome” network marketing systems guaranteed to increase your income by a billion dollars in a week.

Of course, I’m kidding. Sort of. They won’t really increase your sales. But there are probably a billion of them out there, trying to get at your money.

Okay, so maybe not billions, but there are definitely thousands of companies out there making outlandish claims and promising you the moon and the stars if you buy their Internet marketing system.

The problem with these too-good-to-be-true offers are that they’re too good to be true. Which of course means they’re false.

Let’s set aside the obvious scams here. They’re pretty easy to ferret out. But there’s more subtle distinctions between the remaining network marketing systems. Those making the most noise about their network marketing systems are usually professional network marketers. That’s what you want, right?

No.

That’s just part of network marketing. The best systems will teach you strategies for recruiting top talent and retaining them. They will also focus on training, personal development, and ongoing professional education. Now that’s a system that you can take to the bank.

Here’s a tip: the guys who can do this best were once distributors. It just stands to reason that if you’ve done it, you know it better. They’ve actually been successful in the business.

So, as you assess multiple network marketing systems and weigh the pros and cons of each, consider the following “metrics” for an effective system.

1. Attainability. Does the network marketing system seem to set you up for something that seems unattainable? If so, move on.
2. Expertise. As I stated. If the “expert” was not once a distributor, think twice.
3. Results. Can they prove their network marketing system was successful for others?
4. ROI. Network marketing systems are not cheap. Make sure you’ll see a return on your investment.
5. Finite. Does the network marketing company give you a clear time frame for success once their system is implemented?

All the resources you need to be successful are available in a legitimate network marketing system. As I mentioned earlier, there’s no magic wand here. No secret sauce. While you’re new, it can be tough to weed out those who say they can help you and those who actually CAN help you.

Trust your gut but get proof of their results. And, at the end of the day, look for people you think demonstrate integrity and honesty.

These guys are more likely to deliver on their promises than those who talk fast and claim you can do nothing and make a fortune. The game’s just not played that way.

Not anymore, at least.

If you’re still unsure, ask around. People talk when they’re happy but they scream from the rooftops when they think they’ve been scammed. When you find a network marketing system endorsed or discussed by the industry’s top earners, you’re on the right track.

Think of it this way. Cleaning up a mess is much more difficult than never making a mess in the first place.

Find a mentor, get a system, skip the mess.

Now what could be easier than that?
