<p>Ever spend tons of time <strong>writing great email</strong>…I mean it’s well written copy, incorporates psychological triggers, includes a call to action…</p>
<p>You know, all the copy writing stuff that’s supposed to get responses…</p>
<p>And…NOTHING!</p>
<p>Or perhaps you’ve spent hours doing research, written the most amazing<br />
article on a particular subject.</p>
<p>You post it, and the only ones who bother to read it are your closest friends…<br />
and your mother!</p>
<p>Yeah…me too.</p>
<p>Fact is, it doesn’t matter how many psychological triggers you incorporate<br />
effectively if your email isn’t opened, does it?</p>
<p>Nor does it make a bit of difference how well written your copy is if your article isn’t being read.</p>
<p>Any successful marketer will tell you…it’s the subject line…or headline<br />
in the case of an article or blog post…that can make all the difference in the world.</p>
<p>So……… how do you write eye-catching headlines without signing up for a class on copy writing?</p>
<p>Try incorporating these four simple things, and both your article views<br />
and email open rates can rise significantly.</p>
<p>#1– Speak to your audience directly.</p>
<p>Although this may seem obvious, lots of people miss this one.<br />
It means you MUST know your target market/audience thoroughly.<br />
Who are they? Lifestyle? Demographics?</p>
<p>This is a foundational marketing principle and you must begin here if you want to<br />
build a solid business that lasts.  So if you haven’t already, take some time to figure<br />
out just exactly who you’re selling or writing to and get a clear picture in your head.</p>
<p>Then write to THEM.</p>
<p>#2 – Avoid professional or company jargon and/or hype and speak directly to the issue that&#8217;s on their mind.</p>
<p>Seriously, we’re all pretty tired of those subject ilnes that read,<br />
“Somalian Natives Super Herb Now Available in Patented Proprietary Formula”, aren’t we?</p>
<p>We spot them instantly and…delete…delete…delete.</p>
<p>Much better to say, “Get Rid of That Muffin Top”,</p>
<p>“Stop Fighting With Your Kid About Homework”, or</p>
<p>“Look 10 Years Younger in Just 10 Minutes a Day”.</p>
<p>This involves getting &#8220;into the prospect&#8217;s head&#8221; and capturing their attention with the<br />
VERY WORDS they were thinking!  How do you know what they&#8217;re thinking about?  See #1</p>
<p>#3 – Use the ellipses.</p>
<p>Those three little dots tell the human brain there’s more to come&#8230;</p>
<p>And because people are nosy by nature, they just HAVE to see what it is!</p>
<p>#4 – People LOVE lists! (just like this one)</p>
<p>There’s something about “Five Key Components…” or<br />
“Ten Easy Ways to…” that causes an automatic reaction in our brains.</p>
<p>It’s like someone flipped a switch, and we MUST see what’s there.<br />
(and my guess is that after reading this, you’ll start to notice how many blog posts,<br />
articles and emails use this one)</p>
<p>Pretty simple, huh?</p>
<p>Try ‘em out and start increasing your open/view rates.</p>

<p>If you leave out a center section, and that section is over a river, the train is going to go right smack into the river no matter how well all the rest of the span is built.  This is not much different than all the tools and systems that in business we need to build a solid, permanent, cohesive, and long-term paying-off sales organization.</p>
<p>If you don&#8217;t get from one side of the river to the other, whatever the reason, it doesn&#8217;t make any difference how good some parts of the bridge are.</p>
<p>They can be world class and still be useless. In other words, the best tools in the world, if they are not fitted into a system, and if people are not taught how to use those tools, are useless.</p>
<p>What does being the best we can be have to do with bridges/trains?</p>
<p>You are the train.  The locomotive. You are pulling a whole string of cars behind you.</p>
<p>You are the leader.  You are pulling, much of the time, not just leading by brute force.</p>
<p>You can get a huge string of trains moving, very fast.</p>
<p>Masters teach people how to build their own bridges.</p>
<p>The reason Masters seem to work so little, or work so easily, is that they do not use brute force unless they must take a stand on principle.  They may have, early in their careers, but they learned that they will burn themselves out if they continue on that path.</p>
<p>Some people, run around, trying to figure out what to do first, totally unaware that his/her fundamental need in the beginning was to sit down and draw up a plan.  Instead, they go running off and thinks taking &#8220;action&#8221; is something that gets recognition.</p>
<p>Because something is easy to do does not make it the smart thing to do.  It just makes it easy.  And, fun.  At least for a while.</p>
<p>Taking action and getting no results is silly.  If what you are doing is not working, stop, look at what you are doing and find another path.  Surely there is a roadmap to follow.  Just keep building relationships like bridges.  You have to build the whole bridge to make it work.  Build relationships, help people get what they want and you will get everything you ever dreamed of!</p>

<p>My family and I just returned from the most<strong> incredible Nettrav Express Vacation</strong>. We had the privilege of taking a luxurious 5 day cruise on the Royal Caribbean cruise line the Grandeur Of The Sea with our Escape vacation travel points. We left port in Florida on Saturday July 31st, heading for our first stop in Key West on Sunday..</p>
<p>Key West was beautiful with a lot of history, beauty, culture and shopping (which my wife and daughters loved). </p>
<p>After a day of fun and excitement we left port Sunday evening for our next stop in beautiful Cozumel Mexico. Cozumel was absolutely beautiful! The beaches are incredible. My wife and daughters got to do a 3 hour excursion of snorkeling which was their first time.. And of course the shopping was great..</p>
<p>On Monday evening we set out for a beautiful private island owned by Royal Caribbean Coco Cay. We arrived on Coco Cay in the Bahamas on Wednesday morning. The island was outstanding with pristine waters and lots of family activities. The cruise was so good we may take another trip before the end of this year.  </p>

<p>Here is great information on how to <strong>great results using video marketing.</strong> If you are currently using video marketing in your marketing arsenal (and if you aren&#8217;t then I suggest you bust out the ol&#8217; video camera and start having a conversation with the world).</p>
<p>These 2 strategies alone has made a HUGE difference in the amount of views I get on my videos as well as the responses that I receive as well. So put on the student cap for the next 2 minutes and let&#8217;s dive deep</p>
<p><strong>Video Marketing Strategy #1:</strong> Stare at the video camera the entire time that you are shooting your video.</p>
<p>I cannot even begin to tell you how powerful this is and this will make a big difference in the results you receive with video marketing. The reason why you want to do this with your videos is simply because when you stare at the video camera, you are literally looking your prospects in the eyes and it&#8217;s like you are in the room with them having a conversation.</p>
<p>When you are looking around everywhere instead of keeping eye contact, it basically says to your prospect that you aren&#8217;t focused and that you have other things on your mind besides wanting to talk to them. <span style="text-decoration: underline">Think about this for a second, when you are talking with someone and they aren&#8217;t making eye contact with you, do you get the feeling that they aren&#8217;t listening?</span> I thought so&#8230;</p>
<p><strong>Action step: Stare at the camera the entire time you are making your video and really engage your viewer with your emotion to impact them in a big way.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Video Marketing Strategy #2:</strong> Tell your viewer in the first 9-15 seconds exactly what they are going to get from watching your video.</p>
<p>This is EXTREMELY important because with the internet nowadays, it&#8217;s like everyone has a mild case of ADD and if you are simply just rambling on and on in your video and don&#8217;t get to the point right away, your viewer is going to hit the back space button on their browser and they won&#8217;t even listen to your message.</p>
<p><strong>Action Step:</strong> Say something like this right off the start of your video:</p>
<p>&#8220;Hey what&#8217;s going on my friend? This is (your name) and in the next X # of minutes, I&#8217;m seriously going to show you how you can begin to use (this strategy) to drastically improve &#8230;&#8230;(fill in the blank).</p>

<p>You don&#8217;t need me to tell you that text alone is boring. If you&#8217;ve spent even 5 minutes on the Internet lately, you know that websites use all sorts of visuals. Web designers don&#8217;t just include photos and videos to make their sites pretty, either.<br />
Photos and videos are an aid to people who learn visually instead of by reading, for one thing. For another, they break up the text and add color and interest. For our purposes as Internet marketers, videos in particular give us a vital way to reach out and connect with our prospects.</p>
<p>One of the first things that people who have been in traditional sales for awhile ask me about Internet marketing is how we make up for the lack of a personal connection. Trained salespeople know how important it is for the prospect to get to know, like, and trust them—that&#8217;s how both first sales and repeat sales are made.</p>
<p>When I&#8217;m asked, I tell them a few things. One is about the importance of good, solid copywriting. But then I tell them how I use videos to sell my message. In this article, I&#8217;m going to talk about a specific video you should be using—your introductory video.</p>
<p>The first thing you should do with your videos is to make a personal connection with your prospects. Do a video where you introduce yourself and your product, service, or opportunity right on your landing page with another like it on the home page of your website.</p>
<p>Your introduction videos should tell viewers something about you that they can relate to. If you&#8217;re into the outdoors, shoot the video somewhere scenic. If you enjoy golf, do it at your local course. And so on. The idea is to show you in an environment that your target market will identify with.</p>
<p>In this video, you talk about yourself first. Basically, you give the kind of details that you&#8217;ve chosen to make a part of your brand. Your life experience, whether you have a family, how excited you are to be able to offer whatever it is you&#8217;re selling. Now, some of this isn&#8217;t going to take the form of talking—your spouse can be in the video, too, if she or he is willing.</p>
<p>You shouldn&#8217;t get into too many specifics in this video. This is just you, introducing yourself and your opportunity to your prospects. The whole point of this video is to interest people in signing up for more information or to try a trial sample of your product.</p>
<p>And don&#8217;t just put your introductory video on your website! You can use versions of this video on YouTube and provide links to them on social networking sites to help create more buzz about you and your business.</p>
<p>Finally—and I can&#8217;t stress this enough—make sure you have your videos done professionally. This means hiring a copywriter to write the script and making sure you&#8217;re using a videographer who has done videos for websites. You don&#8217;t want to go to the time and expense of shooting videos and then not be able to use them. And a poorly-lit, unscripted, and rambling video is worse than no video at all.</p>

That’s exactly what most Network Marketers end up saying to themselves as they bump their hand against their head, when they find out the MASSIVE mistake they’ve been making in their business this whole time.</p>
<p>But unlike Homer, who will never be able to figure it out even if you drew it out for him step by step…. you can do something about it!</p>
<p>So what the heck am I talking about here?</p>
<p>Mistake?</p>
<p>What mistake?&#8230;</p>
<p>In order for you to really understand why THIS mistake is the MOST pressing problem right now with the majority of newbie entrepreneurs who are testing their luck, trying to bring their business (MLM, Affiliate Marketing, Direct Sales, Network Marketing etc…) online, we have to go back to the basics.</p>
<p>Remember, there are really only 2 ways to grow your business.</p>
<p>It’s either offline (traditional methods like friends and family, cold calling etc.) OR it’s online (using the Internet to reach millions…)</p>
<p>By now, most people have realized how difficult it can be to speak to an untargeted group of people like your friends and family, or to have the super “salesman” personality you need in order to recruit people off the street. And instead, see the MASSIVE potential in bringing their business online.</p>
<p>However what they don’t realize is that marketing offline and marketing online are 2 completely different worlds.</p>
<p>You see, marketing offline is very simple.</p>
<p>You find the closest human being. Grab them for a company presentation. Show them your “wonder” drug. If they like it, they’ll join you. If they don’t, then “Bye bye”. And the process starts all over again.</p>
<p>Simple.</p>
<p>Now online marketing however does NOT work this way. And it doesn’t because it is a completely different platform with a whole different set rules.</p>
<p>Remember there is no face to face human contact. There is no warm fuzzy feeling when people see your smile or shake your hand. There is no touching or sampling of your product.</p>
<p>Instead, what you have online is a bombardment of “offers” and advertising that we have kept out of our lives by building a wall around ourselves and have conveniently coined — SPAM!</p>
<p>So if you’re online for 5 hours a day, adding 5000 friends on Facebook, blasting promotional product/business emails to everyone you know, writing an article a day about how amazing your product is and how it’s changed your life…</p>
<p>And you’re still only generating 3 leads a day (if any at all) and spend more each week than you earn…</p>
<p>And are wondering why you’re getting these types of results?!</p>
<p>It&#8217;s because you&#8217;re feeling like Homer Simpson on a bad day&#8230;</p>
<p>“D’OH!”</p>
<p>You’ve jumped the gun.</p>
<p>You’re not equipped.</p>
<p>You have no idea what you’re doing.</p>
<p>You see, to be a good marketer requires you to understand the fundamentals of what really works online. It requires you to be equipped with the right tools and websites so that you can actually run a “proper” business.</p>
<p>Ask yourself, would you open a restaurant without a kitchen, menus or a chef?</p>
<p>Or would you open a magazine company without investing in proper paper or good writers?</p>
<p>Pretty obvious isn’t it?</p>
<p>Absolutely NOT!</p>
<p>So why would you try to bring your business online if you don’t have all the things you need to make it successful? And one of the most important things that will increase your chances of leveraging these tools successfully is — YOUR EDUCATION…</p>
<p>Your education is something that I also like to call your “Foundation”. Without a good foundation, your business will crumble to the ground quicker than you can build it.</p>
<p>Your foundation not only encompasses the knowledge you need to generate leads, and turns leads into sales, but it also includes all the websites, tools and resources you need for this to happen.</p>
<p>Now I know this doesn’t sound sexy at all.</p>
<p>Focus on my education? Who wants to waste time doing that?!</p>
<p>Let’s get to work. Let’s take action!</p>

<p>I have titled this post, <strong>the right bait to hook leads</strong>. It is great information which was written by Jason Better, I feel sure you will benefit from. I sure did. </p>
<p>Today, I’m going to ask you to get cozy with a cup of your favorite warm beverage, whether that’s coffee, tea, or anything else.<br />
And, I’m going to tell you a story about how I learned to hook MLM leads like a fisherman hooks Smallmouth Bass.</p>
<p>I want you to imagine a sizzling summer many years ago when I was just a “pup” of a fourteen year old. Here I sit in the blazing sun under an abandoned concrete power dam with a stick, a string, and a hook. I desperately want to fish but there’s a flaw in my plan: I don’t have any bait!</p>
<p>Baitless, I wander around, I look under logs for bugs and I dig through chilled earth for worms. I find nothing…</p>
<p>But you know how I never give up? Well, I never give up. So, in the shadow of an ancient cedar tree I eventually “luck” out. Under that cedar tree there’s a few puddles left from when the water was higher… earlier in the year… I guess? And, in those puddles are a buncha crawdads.</p>
<p>You might be wondering, “Jason, what the hay is a crawdad?” </p>
<p>In case you don’t know what I’m talking about, they look like little lobsters. And, when you try to catch them, they skittle backwards and raise their little lobster claws. But, I know they can’t hurt nobody, so I pick three up and put them in my shorts (in the pocket of course) and head over to the end of the dam where the fish are.</p>
<p>I put one poor little crawdad on the hook and toss him in. If there’s a hell, then this is what it would be like, being a crawdad. But, at least it’s a quick hell.</p>
<p>I swear, by everything that’s true, the crawdad doesn’t even hit the water before a bass bites the hook and I swing him on shore. Then I toss another crawdad into the black water and swing another bass on shore. Then the last one and I swing yet another bass on shore. Hard to believe, I know…</p>
<p>I wouldn’t believe it myself if I wasn’t there! Because honestly, I’ve never in all my years had an easier time fishing – never.</p>
<p>But, what made it all work so well wasn’t my stick, my string, or my hook.</p>
<p>It was that silly little lobster on the end of my line.</p>
<p>You see, I didn’t know it at the time, but those mini-lobsters are the favorite food of the Smallmouth Bass. And, the power dam is the favorite place for Smallmouth Bass to chill.</p>
<p>In the past, I’ve fished for days without a bite. I’ve tried shiny little lures, smelly plastic worms, even slimy little frogs – and caught nothing.</p>
<p>The crawdad was the magical little lobster that made it all work<br />
The right bait for the job.</p>
<p>And I hope you understand…</p>
<p>If you want to hook more MLM leads this is soooo much more than a fish story.</p>
<p>It’s a story with a powerful lesson that not one in a thousand Multi-Level Marketers will ever fully understand. Because it’s the real secret of marketing success…</p>
<p>It’s why we’re all really fishermen (and fisherwomen) in this magical world.</p>
<p>Now, I don’t know if this makes sense to you.</p>
