you enroll someone and let them die on the vine, you just took one more<br />
wonderful potential builder from our pool of prospects.</p>
<p><strong>Have you ever heard this phrase?</strong><br />
“I don’t want to babysit<br />
a downline”</p>
<p>If you are properly sponsoring quality people, you will have an organization<br />
of incredibly powerful, motivated individuals who you want to spend your time<br />
with. They are your TEAM – your greatest asset.</p>
<p>I truly think that those who say they don’t want to babysit are those who<br />
don’t want to take the time to develop themselves as a leader. You see, it takes<br />
a leader to help develop a leader.</p>
<p><strong>You’ve read the HYPE over and over again : </strong></p>
<p>“Enroll Hundreds Of Reps Without Ever Speaking to Anyone” and similar phrases<br />
of <strong><em>nonsense</em>.</strong></p>
<p>That kind of marketing would lead you to believe that if you just get really<br />
good at marketing, and use it to market your MLM, that you’ll make huge money in<br />
your company.</p>
<p>I hate to bust your bubble… actually, no, I’d LOVE to bust your bubble and<br />
tell you that is complete nonsense.</p>
<p>Network Marketing is, and always will be an income model that is based on<br />
relationship marketing. Those impressive checks from the top earners are earned<br />
because they developed leaders in their organizations. They didn’t just mass<br />
enroll and see what STUCK. They took the time to invest in those people who<br />
would take ownership of their business and work the system in place by the<br />
company.</p>
<p><strong><em>Mass attrition</em></strong>? You will see that if you just<br />
enroll people on autopilot and never actually act as their sponsor.  Sponsorship<br />
comes with a responsibility to the person who joined your organization. You MUST<br />
direct them to the training in place, you must role play with them and make sure<br />
they are following the simple, duplicateable system in place by your<br />
company.</p>
<p>Enroll hundreds of people and make a ton of cash?  What, off of a one time<br />
fast start bonus for signing them? NO THANKS! You will make far more money when<br />
you help your recruits to earn a check for themselves. When they continue to<br />
work to maintain that check, and to grow it – you finally have leverage.</p>
<p>If you have fallen prey to this type of recruiting – but you still have faith<br />
in the residual income dream, then find a true MLM leader who will paint a<br />
realistic expectation of what it takes to build your business to true walkaway<br />
residual income.</p>

<p><span>How long have you been in the<strong> network marketing i</strong>ndustry??  <strong> Are you  achieving success in Network Marketing</strong><strong>??</strong> How is your business  growing??  If you have been in the Network Marketing industry for very long you  may have asked this question. Why is it that some people go right to the top in  <strong>network marketing</strong> and others simply don&#8217;t ?</span></p>
<p><span>The answer is easier than you might think. Although before I answer that  question let me lay some groundwork.</span></p>
<p><span>Most people that you&#8217;re  prospecting  or sponsor will be those just passing  through, willing to take a stab at it, with the attitude of who knows it might  work.  The fact is 97% of them will quit and a handful will make something  happen.  Notice if you will that I did not say they will fail, I said they will  quit, there is a difference.</span></p>
<p><span>So what is the answer to the question?  Most people quit most things not just  <em><strong>network marketing</strong></em> and the reason is they don&#8217;t think  like the 2-3% of the population who enjoys great<strong> success</strong>.  Is  it that simple?  Yes it actually is. There is a Scripture in Proverbs that  states,  As a man thinketh in his heart so is it in his head . That is  original, that is not someone&#8217;s spin on it or the latest guru&#8217;s idea.  You are  what you think you are. So what is it that you think you are?  Have you ever  asked yourself that question?  I recommend you do and give serious thought to  your answer.  It will be a determining factor in having success in  <strong>network marketing<em><a title="http://scott-bowling.com/successful-network-marketing-business" href="http://scott-bowling.com/successful-network-marketing-business" target="_blank"> </a></em></strong>or  not having success.</span></p>
<p><span>If your thinking is wrong then your actions or behavior will be wrong as  well.  You cannot think one way and act or live another way.</span></p>
<p><span>I have touched on this in other posts, but you need to know you deserve  <strong>success.</strong> If you don&#8217;t  think you deserve  <strong>success</strong>, everything else you do will be a moot point.  If you  think you deserve <strong>success</strong> then you have no problem thinking  about yourself as successful and the result of that over time is you will begin  to act successful.  Which means you will have <strong>success</strong> in your  home based business but also life. Have a can do attitude, an attitude of no  quitting. When you have that <em><strong>success</strong> wealth mindset</em> than it is only a matter of time until you experience it.</span></p>
<p><span>Why is it that people that have not experienced <strong>success</strong> in  other areas of their lives, consider that a home based business would be any  different?  What happens is they don&#8217;t think and behave like they are  successful, and it carries over into all areas of life not just one.  However  when people don&#8217;t experience success in <strong>network marketing</strong> it is  the fault of the industry?  It&#8217;s a scam or it was not the real deal or some  excuse. Change your thinking and that will result in different actions.</span></p>
<p><span>It is not <strong>network marketing</strong> that is the problem or keeping  you from <strong>success</strong> it is your thinking.  <strong>Network  Marketing</strong> is actually affording you the chance to change your life. To  reach a place where you can experience time freedom and financial freedom. Find  out what the successful people are doing and make it your own.</span></p>

<div><strong>The System Is The Secret To Success In Network Marketing</strong> .  I received this information by email and agree with it so much that I want to  share it with you.  Throughout the history of making money we can see many  businesses that have had wild success and many businesses that have failed  miserably.   The difference between the successes and failures depends upon a  number of factors, but in many cases we can see certain successful businesses  that have created a “formula” that works time after time, allowing for expansion  across entire countries and even the world.</p>
<p>Think about McDonald&#8217;s – this  American business that started out decades ago selling hamburgers, French fries  and milkshakes has blossomed into one of the strongest businesses in the  world.   What is the McDonald&#8217;s <strong>Secret To Success</strong>?   You got it  – <strong>a system!</strong></p>
<p><strong> </strong>Each and every McDonald&#8217;s restaurant is a  franchise – which means a McDonald&#8217;s restaurant owner has paid McDonald&#8217;s  corporation for the rights to run that restaurant.   The owner is provided with  a giant golden M to hang above the door, and a system – the same  <strong>system</strong> that every McDonald&#8217;s restaurant must follow.<strong> The system </strong>is completely plug and play, and includes everything from  what tables to use and how often to sweep the floor to how many seconds the  fries should be cooked for and how many pieces of tomato are in every  burger.</p>
<p>This is why a completely inexperienced teenager, with a squeaky  voice and a case of acne, can get a job at McDonald&#8217;s and fill your order for a  Big Mac, a side salad, a baked apple pie and a soft drink with the expertise of  a brain surgeon.   They follow the preplanned and ever-so-thoroughly spelled out  instructions provided to them by the McDonald&#8217;s  <strong>system</strong>.</p>
<p><strong>Systems </strong>are powerful.   Systems  turn simple actions and combinations of actions into profitable ventures.   If  you are considering startin g your own business then a solid working system  should be at the top of your list.</p>
<p>If it is true that 90% of businesses  fail within the first 5 years then it is also probably true that a large  proportion of the remaining 10% have got their system in place. Businesses fail  because they were either not proven to work in the first place, or they were not  following a good enough <strong>system.</strong></p>
<p><strong> </strong>Having a  <strong>system</strong> to follow is one of the main reasons that people choose  network marketing as their business method of choice.   Network marketing is an  industry that is based on having systems and plans to follow, and this makes  doing business much easier and makes success a lot easier to  achieve.</p>
<p>Many people decide to start a home business for lots of  different reasons.   Some keep their “day jobs” until the home business really  takes off, and work at the home business during their spare time.   Some people  don&#8217;t have a regular job and decide to take on a network marketing business full  time. <p><span>If you Integrate Internet Marketing and Relationship Marketing you will be  unusually successful in your MLM.   Ignoring Old School  methods and only  embracing the New School methods is simply foolish.</span></p>
<p><span>I was amused to learn the words Web 2.0 and then later, Attraction Marketing.    As a home based business owner I have built my business using the Internet,  postcards, using leads I purchased and the phone, and using face to face  marketing. I have been using those methods to build my business long before  there were labels attached. </span></p>
<p><span>Network Marketers across the world are embracing the New School way of  building an MLM business by tapping into the millions of prospects who are  online looking for ways to become financially free.   They are learning how to  set up their blogs, build capture pages,  and how to market those sites using  social media like twitter and Facebook, search engine optimization and video  marketing. The question is How Many Of Then Are Really Making Money?? </span></p>
<p><span>Now, I don&#8217;t really believe that there is scarcity of prospects, but there is  scarcity of attention spans.  And if all the New School Network Marketers are  out there teaching  Attraction Marketing, and posing as experts  where does that  leave YOU? If you are trying to claim your spot on the net, how will you stand  out?   How will you generate a lead in an environment where everyone is standing  up and yelling “pick me, pick me” ?</span></p>
<p><span>I don&#8217;t know folks, I just don&#8217;t know&#8230; Maybe just maybe you&#8217;ll  have to go  back to the Old School  methods of prospecting. </span></p>
<p><span>What are the Old School  methods, really?  Does it mean making a list of your  friends and family and expecting them all to be your business partners?  That  each and every one of them is just waiting to be an entrepreneur?  Or how about  standing at the mall and accosting strangers about making extra money, doing  just what you are doing?  No way, you say.   That&#8217;s how you end up in the NFL,  No friends left after you have unprofessionally approached them all with  something that they weren&#8217;t asking for.</span></p>
<p><span>Is that really what is meant by Old School networking?  Of course it isn&#8217;t,   but its what you will hear from those who will tell you that the “Old School”  methods of building a MLM business are dead.  They will make the offline methods  sound stupid and downright degrading.  They will make it sound like you&#8217;d  be a  fool to follow the advice of the MLM millionaires who all built their business  offline, because things are different now .</span></p>
<p><span>Come on, do you really think things are THAT different?  People are still  people, and this is still a word of mouth business.</span></p>
<p><span>So what does Old School really mean, and why should you have respect for the  “Old School” masters, instead of disdain for the term?<br />
</span></p>
<p><span>Its Relationship Marketing at its best.  It is listening for the needs of  people and giving them an option to fill those needs. It&#8217;s connecting with  people in who are looking for what you have to offer.</span></p>
<p><span>It was never, and never will be about chasing your friends and family,  people!</span></p>
<p><span>Right now, there are people all over the world making huge money in MLM  building OFFLINE, using Old School methods.<br />
Right now, people are collecting  six figure checks.</span></p>
<p><span>Are you?</span></p>
<p><span>If not, perhaps its time you took a look at expanding your skill set to  include offline methods of building your business.</span></p>
<p><span>If you are really an entrepreneur with a product or service that the market  is asking for, then you should have no trouble connecting with people who have a  need for what you offer.</span></p>
<p><span>I&#8217;m an Internet Network Marketer online as well as being a offline marketer and have been building my business this way for several years.  I can generate  leads online and offline and call my prospects and, expose them to my business through a presentation. </span></p>
<p><span>However, I take every opportunity to look people in the eye and hand them my  business card.   Their attention is far more valuable than  the hundreds of clicks I will get to this blog post.  They are far more likely  to take action to either become a customer, or even a distributor.   Why?  Because I built a relationship with them in person or on the phone and  professionally introduced what I do.   I heard their need and I addressed it.    They can see that I am genuine, am not at all a slimy salesperson, and if they  have a desire to move forward, its on them.</span></p>
<p><span>My friends and family know what I do, and they are my CUSTOMERS.  They aren&#8217;t  entrepreneurs, and I wouldn&#8217;t prospect them for the business opportunity.  But  they do BUY MY STUFF!</span></p>
<p><span>If you are a closet entrepreneur, you are missing a huge profit zone.  Get  over it already and be the professional you strive to be.   Introduce your  product or service and let everyone know what you do..  Would a paycheck for  doing so really be so bad?</span></p>
<p><span>There is so much more to this- pages and pages worth.  But you really must  know that all of the internet marketing prowess in the world is not going to  make you residual millions in MLM.  You simply must learn the skills of  Relationship Marketing.   Your upline leader making 6 or 7 figures can tell you  how to build a huge business. But you have to  Listen!</span></p>

<p><strong>Social network marketing</strong> is an effective free marketing strategy   that you can use. To be effective in <strong>social network marketing</strong> you really need to know what you are doing!</p>
<p>Of course not everyone knows how to market using social networks effectively.    I have found facebook to be highly effective.</p>
<p>When you take a close look at your Facebook newsfeed what do you really see??    You see everyone promoting their latest and greatest business opportunity to  anyone who will listen, and even to those who have no interest at all.</p>
<p>Then next month you see the same people promoting something else or you see  people promoting 5+ different programs. Do you think anyone will take you  seriously when you do this.. Well the answer is no.   If you want to be  successful at social media, you must become a marketer and not be perceived as a  peddler. A marketer is constantly promoting themselves and creating their  personal branding.</p>
<p>In <strong>social network marketing</strong> you need to promote you not  products, services, or opportunities you are in.</p>
<p>All to often network marketers are seen as jumpers.   You never know what  they will present you with because its always something different.   In  attraction marketing you want people to become attracted to you and that is the  way to get results on sites like Facebook.</p>
<p>Here are a few tips I can suggest when using facebook.</p>
<p>Add Friends – Most people add friends by adding people they consider large  leaders or the big boys of networking. Then try to add that persons friends. You  want to do the exact opposite.   Go to different network marketing groups and  also see if there are any groups you feel good about adding.</p>
<p>Groups – Most people add themselves to as many groups as possible and post  their link to their business opportunity.  Add yourself to groups of great  influence.   Post to the group wall a  funded proposal.   If the group allows  videos and links, add those to the group as well.</p>
<p>Start Your Own Group – Start your own group around You and your interest not  around your products, services or opportunity. Then offer valuable content and  resources to your group members.</p>
<p>Your Friends Wall – Instead of posting a quick message on your friend&#8217;s  wall  saying hi or join my business, I suggest you create a welcome video and tag your  new friends in it.   Introduce yourself and let people know that you are here to  help them.</p>
<p>Cross Promote Your Group – Contact other group members in your niche and  offer to invite your group members to their group if they will do the same  thing. If you put these practices into action you will achieve success.</p>

<p><span>As most objections are expressed emotions you must take care to inject  information into the process only when this is appropriate.   Information will  not solve any objection, but only help your prospect solve their dilemma.</span></p>

<li>Does the prospect understands what is actually required to do the business?</li>
<li>Does the prospect appreciate what it would be like to have the  time?</li>

<p>Today&#8217;s post is titled <strong>the key to multiplying your business</strong> recruiting by Payl J. Meyer.</p>
<p>It is obviously imperative that in building your business you must have:</p>
<p>* A desire to build the business,<br />
* The confidence that you can build the business,<br />
* The knowledge necessary to build the business,<br />
* And, of course, a passion for the business.</p>
<p>Two major ingredients that I have used all my life in building marketing organizations are visualization and affirmations.</p>
<p>An affirmation is simply a positive declaration of something you believe to be true or something you expect to become true and desire to live by. Affirmations transform your thinking, your attitudes, and finally, your behavior.  Their impact on attitudes and behavior help to produce the results you desire.</p>
<p>The most effective affirmations are those you compose yourself.  They are based on your goals and describe the person you want to be, the things you want to do, and what you want to possess. When you repeat such affirmations, you build the needed internal confidence and determination to overcome obstacles, accomplish goals, and improve productivity.</p>
<p>To be successful in recruiting&#8230;</p>
<p>* You must realize and believe that recruiting is important!<br />
* You must visualize yourself as a recruiter, and<br />
* You must have some affirmations to speak to your sub-conscious mind until you have developed the thoughts and habits of a recruiter.</p>
<p>For Example:</p>
<p>o When I am watching a parade, I always think about recruiting each person as he or she marches by.<br />
o When I am at a big event such as the Super Bowl, I have an incredible desire to get a hold of the microphone for just one minute. &#8220;If I were allowed just one minute with the microphone, out of the 80,000+ in the audience, I am sure that there would be at least 5,000 who would want to talk to me about my business. I could just give them my e-mail address and recruit them on the new internet system!&#8221;</p>
<p>Listed below are some examples of affirmations.</p>
<p>»» I am the Number One Recruiter in ___________! (Fill in the blank with your network marketing company)<br />
»» I recruit &#8220;ten&#8221; people a month (include whatever number here is your goal).<br />
»» I am a recruiting magnet.<br />
»» Recruiting is the core of my business.<br />
»» Today I will phone a referred recruit.  He/she will be waiting for my call, and they will join my team!<br />
»» Recruiting is the lifeblood of my business.<br />
»» I spend three-fourths of my time recruiting and training new associates.<br />
»» I am building a huge team every minute of every day!<br />
»» I do some recruiting every day &#8211; because it&#8217;s the key to success in this business!<br />
»» I recruit the top people in all of __________. (Fill in your network marketing company&#8217;s name here).<br />
»» I love talking to people about my business.<br />
»» I love teaching others how to build their downline!<br />

<p>Everybody should write his or her own affirmations.</p>
<p>Write them on 3&#215;5 cards,<br />
Print them in large, bold, print on an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper.<br />
Tape them in various places around your office.<br />
Put them in your personal planner.<br />
Read them every day. They will stimulate you into action.</p>

<p>Our post today is a<strong> business plan for your network marketing </strong>business.  If you will try this out every month in 2011 you can watch your business grow.  This allows you to see exactly what is working and what is not working in your current plan of action.   This business really is not hard there are only 3-steps to building a business and if your business is not growing you probably need to work on 1 or more of these areas.   The first step is prospecting check out the information below to find out how this works.</p>
<p>How  do you design a business plan for your<strong> Network Marketing</strong> Business. </p>
<p>The first step to success in any business is a rock solid plan.   I have put together a monthly business plan for my Network Marketing business for over 14 years now and I think it is without a doubt the key to success.  Let me explain exactly how I do it.   First you need to understand the steps to building your business.   You need to prospect, follow up, and train and you need to have a plan of exactly how you are going to do each of those three steps.</p>
<p>Prospecting truly is the lifeblood of your business and there are countless ways to prospect so I am not going to get into that.   What you need to do for you business plan is list all of the strategies you are going to use for the month and the cost. I also put what I expect to get from each method and then track the results so I can use this information for my plan for the next month. The old saying if you fail to plan you plan to fail.  It is so true, if you do not have an exact plan of action how can you tell what is working or if you are even headed in the right direction   Here are some examples that you might have.</p>
<p>HBC ad coop $250 should generate 25-35 leads and 4-5 sign ups</p>
<p>Pay per click $100 should generate 5-10 leads and 2-3 sign ups</p>
<p>Facebook free  add 5-10 friends per day try to connect with at least 3-4 people per week 0-1 sign ups</p>
<p>Try to meet at least 1 new person per week in my local market 1-2 sign ups per quarter</p>
<p>Budget and Goal for the Month $350 goal 5-10 sign ups cost per sign up $35-$70</p>
<p>This is just a basic example you might have 15-20 different strategies or maybe only 1 or 2 but you need some way to track where you are marketing and how it is working.   A very successful marketer once told me if you can consistently sponsor people in the cold market for $50-$75 you can make a fortune in this business.   People will normally budget $100 or so for marketing their business and if they get results they will continue to market if they do not get results they will normally quit within 60 days.   So it is crucial that you have a plan and you can track your success.  At the end of every month I track my results and then decide what methods I will use for the next month. If you are not able to bring new people into your business on a monthly basis the chances of you making a good income is almost non- existent.   I believe every 6-figure earner sponsors at least 1-2 people per month until they are making at least 100k per year.   If you are not doing this get with your upline leader and find out what they are doing on a monthly basis.   The goal of your prospecting plan is to create a constant flow of new prospects every month that are looking for an opportunity regardless if you sign anyone up.</p>
<p>The next step is Follow Up &#8230;</p>
<p>To be long-term successful, you MUST have a marketing system for your opportunity. I love mine because it offers total training in the skills of working with people, so that you get better and better and your people can plug into exactly the same system, making it far easier for you to help them.</p>

<p><span style="font-family: Verdana,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif"><span>The professional salesperson, the true Champion, realizes that people  have two ears and one mouth, and each should be used equally. This means that  after talking ten seconds, you switch your mouth off, switch your ears on, and  listen for 20 seconds. This also means that instead of overwhelming your future  client with words, you encourage them to talk. Let&#8217;s compare the two  methods. </span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Verdana,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif"><span>The average salesperson speaking: &#8220;This is the best there is. Nothing on  the market can touch it. We&#8217;ve got the best products because we&#8217;re miles ahead  of the competition. You&#8217;d better get it.&#8221; </span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Verdana,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif"><span>&#8220;This insurance will do more for you than anything else you can find.  You really should hurry and get it.&#8221; </span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Verdana,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif"><span>&#8220;These items are on sale. Why waste your time shopping around? You can&#8217;t  get them for less.&#8221; </span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Verdana,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif"><span>When salespeople use such methods, what are they  doing? </span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Verdana,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif"><span>They&#8217;re pushing, aren&#8217;t they? </span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Verdana,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif"><span>They&#8217;re arguing. They&#8217;re telling people things they don&#8217;t want to hear.  They&#8217;re trying to ram obvious self-serving statements down the future clients&#8217;  throats. In effect, they are saying, &#8220;I&#8217;m out to make you buy something. The  only reason I&#8217;m doing that is to put money in my pocket, and I don&#8217;t care  whether what you buy helps you or not.&#8221; </span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Verdana,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif"><span>Such tactics quickly drive off everyone except the few who love to  argue. Champion salespeople on the other hand, never give anyone the impression  that they&#8217;re pushing them &#8211; for the simple reason that they never push. But they  do lead. </span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Verdana,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif"><span>The Champion leads his or her prospects from the initial contact to  happy involvement in owning the product or service by not talking all of the  time, by listening most of the time, and by asking artful questions. In all this  alert and pointed questioning, the true professional maintains a friendly  attitude of interest and understanding that encourages the prospect to open up  and give the desired information freely. </span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Verdana,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif"><span>Have you ever been surprised at how freely you&#8217;ve talked to certain  salespeople before buying from them? They were alert and interested. You felt  comfortable with them. Recalling those conversations, you may think you were  leading and the salesperson was following. </span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Verdana,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif"><span>Superficially, that was true &#8211; at first. In a deeper sense, however,  that professional salesperson was leading all the way and you were following all  the way. </span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Verdana,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif"><span>How did that happen? The Champion encourages you to start off. Once you  set your direction, he or she gets smoothly in front and begins to lead you  toward any of several open paths to purchase. When artful questioning reveals  which of the several paths is best, the Champion guides you smoothly and warmly  to it. The halter goes over your head so softly that you never think about  bucking. Instead you buy! </span></span></p>
