Here is a great article titled Live With An Attitude Of Gratitude by Glen Hopkins. Imagine for a moment one of those nights when you just can’t fall asleep and you have to get up early the next morning for a very important meeting of which you are the keynote speaker. Your alarm clock goes off early in the morning waking you from what little sleep you had. You stumble out of bed, have a quick shower, grab a coffee and some toast, and off you go to fight the traffic on the way to work.
Does that sound like the start of a terrible day? Most would answer ‘yes.’ Few people however, would answer, ‘no.’ These are the people, who are in my opinion blessed with a gift. A gift which determines how they view their life. These people live with ‘an attitude of gratitude.’ For them, the situation described could be worse. Much worse. For example, think of the man who doesn’t have a bed, let alone a roof to over his head. When he is awoken from what little sleep he is able to get, it is by the rain falling on his cold body. He too stumbles to his feet and begins his journey to work in his bare feet. His work is in the field of survival. He searches though garbage cans for scraps of half-rotten food to eat and odd bits of clothes to keep him warm.

The purpose of this example is to illustrate that we all have so much to be grateful for. Even in times when it seems that nothing could be worse, there is always a reason to be grateful. And when you feel a sense of gratitude, you feel a sense of happiness and contentment. My challenge to you today is to learn to look for the good in every situation and live with ‘an attitude of gratitude.’

I assure you, if you were the fellow searching for food in garbage cans you too could find things to be grateful for. You just have to look hard enough and ‘open your eyes’ to what is around you. You have to focus on what’s good in your life, not what’s bad.

Life works in mysterious ways. Time and time again there have been stories of people who are in a dire strait yet they are found helping others who are experiencing greater turmoil. This is because once you have helped someone in greater need than yourself, you always feel better. You feel better because you have helped another human being, and this forces you to change your mindset from focusing on your problems to focusing on their solutions.

Always focus on the solution, not the problem and live with an attitude of gratitude! Mother Teresa was a primary example of this phenomenon. Her entire life revolved around helping others in need. As a result she experienced a great deal of love and self-satisfaction in her life.

I challenge you now to take a moment to think of five things in your life that you are grateful for today. For example, your friends, your family, your job, your sense of smell, touch, sight, and sound. The list can go on and on. Imagine what your life would be like without these things. Write them down on a piece of paper and really think about the things you are grateful for. You will be amazed at how great you will feel!

Here is a great post I titled it doesn’t have to be fancy to work in network marketing. The article was written by Diane Hochman. It really just tells it like it is in Network Marketing. I hope you see the value in what she says here.

I don’t drive a fancy car…

I live in a regular house (nice but not fancy)

Don’t have “hair and make up sessions”
And often times you can STILL find me cooking dinner with a headset on
so I can help people at the same time I care for my family.

I haven’t shot a video on the beach in California…not even once…

In fact…

I don’t have a SINGLE fancy video.

They’re pretty basic…

I just sit where ever I am and say what I need to say…

That’s it.

Me..I’m just a regular girl who cracked the code.

Yup..I figured out how the money is made.

And I am willing to bet that if you are reading this…

That’s who you are too.

Just a regular person who got involved with a network marketing
or a home or small business cause you wanted to make some extra money

We’re talking a couple a thousand a month for starters.

Right?

A couple a grand would probably get you on the road to what you want.

Yup…

I know your type.

I’m just like you….

And you really should know that there are MILLIONS of us.

People who are not looking to set up VIDEO STUDIOS in their homes to
try to appear like we are HOLLYWOOD STARS.

People who don’t want to write articles just because they contain the right
traffic driving keywords but would rather express a cool thought or idea.

People who just want to help some other people and earn a right living

Yet somehow everywhere you look we don’t see any ads or capture pages that offer this…

We see hot sports cars and beaches…

Mansions and yachts

And for the life of me I have NEVER understood WHY people go for this stuff….

Why people get SO caught in it?

Oh sure…

Part of me understands…

I lived it when I was trying to lose weight.

I used to be severely obese.

And what I call a DIET INDUSTRY VICTIM

I never wanted a sensible plan that over time would product me the results I wanted…

OH NO…..

I wanted THE MAGIC PILL that would make me skinny overnight…

So I bought every supplement, lotion, potion, dvd set and expensive exercise jungle gym out there.

I racked up THOUSANDS of dollars in debt before I figured out that the answer was in ME

Ten years and a hundred pounds later I am a testament to that.

So I guess I was WAY lucky when I got involved in a home business because I
had already been through the “trying to buy success” phase of my life.

And I was not romanced by the sexy images that the industry flung at me…

I wasn’t looking to drive a Maserrati (can’t even spell it!) or become famous…

I just wanted to make $100 that week.

AND I DID…My very first week.

Maybe cause I didn’t get caught up in all the hoopla

But instead focused on what I already knew.

We all know how a store works…right???

The little local mom and pop store in your neighborhood…

They know their clientele…

They know what they like to buy…

AND THEY STOCK IT!!!

Holy Cow…what a novel idea…

Know your prospects and have what they want to buy!!!

Pretty basic..right???

Once I conquered that and decided to study marketing a bit
I figured out that fancier businesses just kept A LIST of their prospects and
customers and MAILED THEM STUFF to show the people all the cool new things
they had to help them out (EG: LL BEAN, The Sears Catalog ETC)

So like the simple minded girl I am I did the same thing…

Kept a list…and mailed them stuff to show them what I had to help them out…

And lo and behold…people bought MORE STUFF.

Then I got wild and crazy and decided to try it on the internet…

Treat people great…get to know what they want to buy…

Keep a list of em…

And mail (in this case email) them stuff to tell em how I can help em out.

TAH DAH!!!!!

Not a single fancy video needed.

No hot cars or bikini clad chicks (believe me..you DO NOT want me in a bikini)

No beaches…no McMansions…No exotic locales (well my backyard IS kinda cool)

Basically I just used plain old COMMON SENSE.

And here’s the KOOKY PART…

People will LISTEN to you if you make sense.

(Looking for “like minded individuals who share desire to create mutually beneficial entrepreneurial
relationships” DOES NOT MAKE SENSE in the real world –or on Facebook for that matter!)

I am talking when you actually MAKE SENSE…

Do you get that???

Truly get that???

And when you do make sense you don’t need any of that fancy marketing junk.

Heck…I barely spend a dime on advertising…

NO KIDDING.

It’s just all energy…vibe and a lotta commons sense and PEOPLE SKILLS

So before you go out and invest in the next “MAGIC PILL”
(and let me be the first to say that MANY of the training products out there are TOP NOTCH)

PLEASE O PLEASE stop and think for a minute.

And consider…

Could it be that you have known the answer all along???

Chances are the answer is YES.

And once you find that answer INSIDE OF YOU…

Rock and Roll….

Hire the video guy…

Go to Hawaii and shoot your heart out…

Get all fancy dancy and maybe even color your hair for the launch videos.

GO FOR IT.

But I just wanted to let you know that you need NONE OF THAT to have your first
$2 to $10k month.

I make that many times over and I still haven’t upgraded…

Heck…

I didn’t have this snazzly wordpress blog until recently…

Believe it or not I was making money hand over fist with BLOGGER…some Squidoo lenses, a few Hub pages
and some HANDWRITTEN post cards…

TRUE!!!

And you can too.

Don’t let all the glitz and glamor make you forget who you are and what you ALREADY KNOW.

As my mentor says…

You don’t have to get it right…you just have to get it going.

And like a dork I believed him when he told me I could start with all HOME MADE stuff.

Still use most of it to this day.

Cause think about it…

In all the hustle bustle out there…

When is the last time you got a handwritten post card with a scratch and sniff
sticker from a company…

Probably NEVER…

Yet my folks find them in their mailboxes all the time.

And that’s about as SLICK as Diane Hochman gets!

So don’t expect any fancy videos from me too soon…

No launch sequences…

No fancy capture pages…

No graphic designs

Just lil ol ME

And ten years worth of home business knowledge …

Reaching out my hand to you.

And saying…

BEGIN WHERE YOU ARE

Cause you are PERFECT right now…

And you’re only gonna get better…

How do I know???

Cause I BELIEVE in YOU

I BELIEVE in the industry

And I BELIEVE in possibilities.

Some friends continue to try to recruit me into network marketing deals that seem like some type of money game or pyramid. Other friends tell me they’re illegal and I’ll get into trouble. How do I know what’s legal and legitimate?
A: To help you understand what network marketing is, I must first explain what it isn’t. First, network marketing isn’t a pyramid scheme. Pyramids are programs similar to chain letters where people just invest money based on the promise that other people will put in money that will filtrate back to them and somehow, they’ll get rich. A pyramid is strictly a money game and has no basis in real commerce. Normally, there’s no product involved at all, just money changing hands. Modern-day pyramids may have a product, but it’s clearly there just to disguise the money game.

Network marketing is a legitimate business. First, it’s based on providing people with real, legitimate products they need and want at a fair price. While some people do make a lot of money through network marketing, their financial benefit is always the result of their own dedicated efforts in building an organization that sells real products and services.

Pyramids are illegal and are based on taking advantage of people. For a person to actually make money in a pyramid scheme, someone else has to lose money. But in network marketing, each person can multiply his or her efforts, skills and talents by helping others be successful. Network marketing has proved itself as part of the new economy and a preferred way to do business here and around the world.

Network marketing isn’t about taking advantage of your friends and relatives. Only a few years ago, network marketing meant retailing to, and sponsoring people from, your “warm list” of prospects. Although sharing the products or services and the opportunity with people you know is still the basic foundation of the business, today we see more people using sophisticated marketing techniques such as the Internet, conference calling and other long-distance sponsoring techniques to extend their networks around the world.

Network marketing isn’t a get-rich-quick scheme. Of course some people do make large amounts of money very quickly. Many would say those people are lucky. But success in business isn’t based on luck. (Unfortunately, money won’t sprout wings and fly into your bank account no matter what someone has promised you.) Success in network marketing is based on following some very basic, yet dynamic principles.

Now let’s discuss what network marketing is. Network marketing is a serious business for serious people. Uncertain Times.. How to Survive….

A wise man once said when it comes to starting a new business, “Begin with the end in mind.”

Yes, this is a positive way of starting a new business, but how do you deal with the ups and downs of reaching success in the process?

Well, it doesn’t matter what your goal or desired outcome…here’s a little metaphor to help you along the way:

Imagine you are a die hard baseball fan and your team was playing in the 7th Game of the World Series.

But, even though you hardly ever miss a game, this one game, you had to miss.

So, instead of camping out in front of your television with your baseball cap on, you record the game, knowing that when you get home you can watch it just as it were LIVE.

You wouldn’t even know the difference if it was LIVE or recorded, as long as you didn’t know the outcome.

However, before you start the playback of the game, you make the fatal flaw of hopping onto Facebook and finding out that your team won the game.

Well great for you that your team won, but now, the mystery has been removed.

But here’s the rub…

Now that you know the outcome, I have a few questions for you?

Would it matter if your team fell behind by 3 runs by the bottom of the 2nd inning?

Would it matter if your team’s best left handed pitcher threw his arm out in the 3rd and couldn’t play for the rest of the game?

Would it matter if your team went up by 6 runs in the 5th, then fell behind by 7, or 17 or 80 runs in the top of the 7th?

NO, it wouldn’t.

None of that would matter.

Why?

Because you already know the outcome – your team already won!

So regardless of the score, or how many errors your team committed or how many pitchers your team went through to finish the game, you knew for a fact that in the end, your team came out on top.

So, that being said, during the game itself, you could relax.

Couldn’t you?

You could enjoy the game.

You could accept the errors.

You could accept falling behind.

You could live with the fact that it wasn’t perfectly played.

Well imagine you treated your business the same way.

You knew, in your heart of hearts, without any doubt, that you were going to win.

That you were going to be successful.

That you were going to become a great leader.

That you were going to build a very profitable business that pays you for decades into the future.

Could you relax and enjoy it more?

Would you relax and enjoy it more?

I bet you would.

I bet you would have more fun.

I bet you would make more money.

And I bet you’d even become successful much faster.

Whatever you do, begin with the end in mind.

It’s the only way to succeed!

Money is just a piece of paper, and with money you can do a lot of good, helpful things.

I believe that you are a good person so I will reveal you these money earning secrets that have radically changed the way I look at money.

If you follow recommended strategies, you will earn an enormous amount of money. So here are three ways to earn money.

Trading time for money

The first way to earn money is by trading time for money. This way contains a lot of hard labor and in fact it is not really effective. Around 90% of population sticks with this paradigm. But they are making only 5% of all the wealth in the world. Maybe it sounds like crazy, but it is true.

“If I work hard, maybe someday I will get the good job.” This habit we have from youth and it is deeply stored in our minds. But the problem is that if I am a factory worker, office worker in large company, lawyer or doctor I am restricted to time and if I want to earn more I need to work more. This situation is not pleasant because day has only 24 hours and if I want to explode my income maybe I will not be capable to do that because THERE IS NO TIME.

You literally trade your life for money. What a terrible thing to trade life for. Also if you are working for someone else, you are limited in your results. You built someone else dreams not yours. There is always a limitation. Even thought there are many people who will tell you that there is some security in working for large company that could not be further from the truth. How many people do you know have been laid off or “reengineered” in the last 10 month? You see. The only security you have on this planet is within your own self.

Trading money for money

Next we have excellent way to earn money. This is where you are trading money to earn money, or investing. This is great strategy but in case that you have the money, skills and proper courage. In this way there is a big wins, big risk and also big loses. It is not very practical for average people.

If you concern in this strategy I would strongly recommend you to get help from person who really understand this topic. Not someone who has only external experiences, but from who is already using this method and he is successful in this strategy. Check his value, references, and results. When you do this check it again, just for sure.

Multiplying your time through MSI´s

This strategy is the best way to earn money. Approximately 1% of population uses this method and they make 95% of all money that is being earned. That is right; one percent of population earns over 95% of all the money. Don’t you want to know what they know? Wouldn’t be nice? If your answer is YES, let’s look at the most powerful strategy.

It is when you multiple your time by setting up multiple sources of income (MSI). This is when you leveraging your time through the efforts of other people and systems. You multiple your time, it is not how much you can do alone it is what you can do, systemize it and duplicate it. This is why it is so excited.

The great thing about this strategy is that you are not having only one source of income, you have MANY. You see, when you want to explode your income you cannot do it just by working more, you have to work smart. When you do this you will be absolutely blown away what happens when money comes to you from different sources. When you do it properly, you are able to achieve income that you may have never imagined before.

Take action now

Take action now by beginning to plan ahead, create a vision of exactly what you will do with the money when it comes and work on your personal development so you become a better person at the same time.

Pablo Picasso said that “Action is the foundational key to success.” Nothing happens only dreaming, there have to be an action.
