Making Excuses For Failure in Network Marketing
You know how most people get fired up when the New Year starts and set themselves some goals and resolutions for the Year and for the first week or two take some great action to get there? By January 20th they are back in front of the TV, eating popcorn and drinking beer or soda and wondering why their life never changes. Then they start making excuses for failure in network marketing.
What is it that sets those that achieve their goals apart from those that don’t? Those that know the secret tell us “those that achieve their goals are willing to do those things that other people are not and to continue to do them until they become a habit.” If they decide they are going to call 10 new leads a day, they lock themselves in their office and will not come out until those leads are called. If they decide they are going to cut out junk food – they eliminate what is in their house first and then no longer purchase it. They set the stage for success and then they practice until it becomes the habit.
It seems to be easier to achieve your goals if you have a team of like-minded people willing to help you. Being accountable to someone on your team is also beneficial. Be sure to pick someone that will hold you accountable and not listen to excuses. Oh yes, stop making excuses because ultimately it is you who has to be accountable to you. Success or failure is really up to you. Its your choice.
