Overcome Frustration In MLM/Network Marketing
The time to overcome frustration in MLM/Network Marketing has come.  Have you suffered from frustration in the MLM/Network Marketing industry?? I’m not talking about the home meetings, the fights with negative friends and family who think you are crazy for pursuing your dreams, or even exposing yourself to ridicule from your “loved onesâ€.
What I’m talking about is way more then that…
You see, before the creation of the internet super highway, we as network marketers operated in our little worlds, We simply followed our upline leaders, doing whatever they told us – they were the ones who “made itâ€. Who were we to argue with them?
Even then, very few of us made it doing network marketing the “traditional way”.  Realistically most of us drowned in debt, and watched our life savings get sucked up by our new business venture. We were told that our dream wasn’t big enough, and all we need to do was to go prospect more people to find that right one that would take us to gloryland.
Then everything began to change with the advent of the super highway on the internet. All of a sudden new companies emerged, while old ones redefined themselves. Even the long term companies in the network marketing industry were ready to move into the modern internet era…
Back in the beginning of the internet revolution instead of using the internet to find prospects to expose our business to, we were told to download the phone numbers from our cell phone onto our computers. That was our list of “hot prospectsâ€. When we exhausted that list, we could either buy leads or camp out at Starbucks or Malls to replenish our list.
Instead of having online videos and presentations, we were told to use email, MySpace and cryptic text messages to get people into hotel meetings or home meetings so they can see the plan. The only difference was that the circles on the notepad were replaced by the circles on your laptop, and flashy powerpoint presentations..
Instead of teaching our newly sponsored team members how to market effectively and grow a real business online, we perpetuated the same old ideas that had been taught in this industry for the past 50 years. Even though we called our opportunity an “internet businessâ€, some companies even forbade you from marketing and promoting on the internet.
Well all that has changed! Today the online network marketing community is promoting their businesses like never before. We now have the ability to have prospects contacting us looking for what we offer. It is a new day in our wonderful industry.
If you want to consider building your online marketing strategy here are a few things to consider:
Start with Web/Blog Promotion.
Get ranked in search engines.
Develop good SEO skills.
Dominate your marketing niche.
Build a responsive email list in your contact manager.
If you don’t understand online marketing I suggest you find a great system to use and be prepared to take some time to implement online marketing into your business strategy.
