Treat Prospecting Like Dating
How many times have you spoken to a new prospect and in your excitement you just kept spewing out information about your companies products, services or opportunity?? Then you take a breather and you can see your prospect is sitting with their eyes glazed over, looking for the doorway. I suggest you start prospecting like dating.
Hey believe me, we have all done the spewing part. Once you become more experienced you learn to give just enough information to develop interest before you go to the next phase. You need to allow your prospect to tell you what they want and why they want it.
