It is important to keep yourself in the loop when it comes to news on the latest social media giants deals as frequently as possible. It gives you the opportunity to catch that wave at an early point for a longer and more prosperous ride. On that note, here is information that has been posted on several sites that I follow on Twitter latest information.
Google and Twitter recently unveiled a deal where Google will include Twitter updates in their search results. Google believes this will be truly beneficial to have up-to-the-minute data that will enhance user experience as well as they feel tweets can make search better in the coming months. This information was unveiled at the Web 2.0 Summit in San Francisco by Google’s Marissa Mayer. Marissa Mayer is the Vice President of Search Product and User Experience at Google.
Marissa Mayer had some other interesting information to share at the Web 2.0 Summit regarding a Google product called “Social Search” that is launching soon in Google Labs. Social Search will allow you to see queries from people in your social network. It will scan who you are connected to in social networks such as FriendFeed and give you results from those people. According to what I’m reading on different websites Google and Twitter unveiled their deal following the announcement of Bing and Twitter at the same event, Web 2.0 Summit in San Francisco where an agreement between Microsoft and Twitter was made to inject real-time tweets into Bing Search Engine Results. Microsoft is calling this “Bing Wave 2“. This was the main topic that was covered during a conversation between Microsoft’s Qi Lu President of Microsoft’s Online Services Group, and Tim O’Reilly. Now of Coarse he did cover some of his other overall goals with Microsoft and search, but of coarse “Bing Wave 2“ was the really hot topic. Video

Another feature that is soon to come to the new version of Bing will be Facebook data, but that is still in the works and it’s vague as to how that will work. Because Microsoft has Twitters entire public feed to work with, they claim it is like a better version of Twitter search. When you perform a Twitter search on the New Bing it will give you the top links shared related to your query, and the most recent tweets. Yes! I did say the most recent Tweets for those of you who do not use Twitter often this can be very important on showing you the value and importance in the near future on tweeting as often as possible. When it comes to the top links shared it usually shows that people think those specific tweets hold value, which may help you on finding quality content. I think those features will be very meaningful. Based on the facts I read about the recent tweets constantly updating in a real-time feed including an actual pause button for the real-time feed I think is a great feature, and there is also a retweet button to easily tweet and retweet what you find to be interesting or valuable content in your search results.
It appears Live Real-Time Social Content is obviously making another big jump. My goal is to keep you updated because for those who are not familiar or involved in these tools you may get left behind……
