Understanding Network Marketing – Setting Goals
Understanding Network Marketing is very important. This may be a shock for some of you however I think the number one reason people fail in Network Marketing is they simply don’t understand it. They just don’t know the basic principles or understand how to simply make the how to’s of the business work . In this posting I will cover goals and why it is important to work with your new people right away to put their goals on paper.
Goals
When you bring new people in your business your first job is to help them establish goals. Unless you know the goals and purpose of your people you can’t really understand them. When you combine your new persons goals with the power and freedom of Network Marketing magic happens. When you understand that goals are forms of acknowledgment and in my opinion should not be looked at as the end result but the means to achieve the results we desire.
When your people achieve a specific goal it becomes an acknowledgment that they are on the right track to success. Goals are small steps in the journey to success in Network Marketing. They help us master our progress of the journey. Goals help us get to where we are going simply by measuring our progress along the way. If for whatever reason we don’t achieve our set goal we then know we need to make adjustments.
Goals help us build momentum. Once we have accomplished one specific goal it gives us the power and purpose to go for the next one and the next etc.. We need to teach our new people when they set a goal they must commit to it, hold a strong vision of it, work toward it, and then achieve it.
What kind of person sets a goal and meets or exceeds their goal? The kind of person we want on our teams! A person who will settle for nothing less then success. A person who sets goals is building a passion and purpose for results. When that happens they become empowered and then have the ability to empower others. When this takes place we then build strong leadership within our teams!

In network marketing, there are many things to consider. One of them is to set goals.. It is important. If a business has no gaol, it would probably fail..

Hi john, i just watched your video and found it really good. What you are saying is so right and simple .Yet so many people don’t do it and i have to say that I’m guilty of this myself. I do some goal setting in my head but over time you just can’t remember all this stuff that’s why writing it down is so much better.
