Why Growing Tomatoes Is Like Growing Your Network Marketing Business??
I have to admit this is a pretty strange subject. At least that is until you really look at it. Here is a picture of one of my prize tomato plants from this year. This plant was 6’7″ tall a few days ago and continues to grow. I think we could all agree it is pretty large and looks very healthy. Take a look and then lets discuss why growing tomatoes is like growing your network marketing business.
In order to grow a great tomato plant we need several things, fertile soil, seeds, fertilizer, water, and sunlight. If we do all these things properly we have a great healthy plant that produces large and great tomato’s. Well our networking business is much the same.
Our fertile soil is the company we represent. We need to be sure that is has great products, a excellent compensation plan, great corporate leadership, and the opportunity to really excel within the company.
Our seed is the new person we bring in the business. That person has to be willing to grow in our business. They have to be willing to really take root and understand it will take them time.  It takes to succeed.
The fertilizer is provided by you. You need to work with your new person on setting goals, working on personal development, following the coaching and training provided by you and the company leadership.
The water and sunlight is also you. You must be willing to spend time to offer your new person refreshment and encouragement. If you expect to just bring people in this business and put them out on their own you are in for a complete disappointment.
We owe it to the people we sponsor to be true to what our industry is about. The opportunity to have people succeed and grow within the industry on a personal and financial basis.
We need to be great sponsors, trainers and provide leadership. If success is really what you are thriving to achieve you must do the above to grow a healthy organization that will continue to thrive, flourish and produce for years to come.
Training and development in network marketing is the easiest and fastest way to improve and grow your business. By enhancing the skills that you and your sales people bring to the table, you are improving the chances that each of you will enjoy individual success. Success is contagious, once you get a little on you, it will stick to everything and everyone that you touch. Learning how to harness that success and grow will attract even more success to you.
